A beautiful and delicate depiction of the flower of Scotland; which would look stunning on a few flowers of Scotland! Legend has it that a bare footed warrior in an invading Viking army stepped on this wee thorny plant under cover of the night. An ensuing shriek of pain gave up their cover and the Scots recorded a brave victory over their Danish foe. Scotland 1 Denmark 0 – Ha!
