This T depicts the ancient Indian art of Mehendi – intricate henna tattoos.  Although the custom is many centuries old, it's recently become fashionable all over the world.  In India it is an auspicious symbol used at ceremonies associated with transcendence and transformation – often at weddings when it is common for the names of bride and groom to be hidden within the pattern.
